Legacy of Al Piña: National Black and Latino Economic Summit Flagship Video
Al Piña's vision was for African American & Latino communities to join forces and achieve economic justice for everyone in the United States regardless of skin color or "social" status. The National Black and Latino Economic Summit is the culmination of that vision. The Summit connects non-profits & small businesses from the African American & Latino communities with heavy hitters from major banking institutions. The goal: education, access to capital, relationship building, and real change. The NMCRC uses this video to attract sponsorship for the summit, to raise awareness, and to carry the Summit long into the future, thereby honoring the legacy of Al Piña and affecting real progress toward social & economic justice in the United States.
